OAA and PARCC

OAA and PARCC scores are not approved for gifted identification in the state of Ohio.

These assessments are used to determine the extent to which students have learned the content taught at that grade level, while nationally normed tests compare achievement or ability to students across the country. High OAA or PARCC scores may indicate giftedness, but they may also indicate a conscientious learner. Students who achieve high OAA or PARCC scores may be nominated for gifted testing.
