During the month of March, our middle school guidance counselors visit 6^th and 7^th grade classrooms to meet with students about their scheduling options for the following year.  Every student receives a Program of Studies as well as a course request sign-up sheet.  Families can use the Program of Studies to help their student make choices about what classes to take the following year.  Sign-up sheets need to be signed and returned to the school in a timely fashion so the Middle School master schedule can be built.

Students in the 8^th grade will have an opportunity to meet with West Carrollton High School guidance counselors in March also.  Eighth graders will also receive the Curriculum Choices Booklet and sign-up sheet, which will be used to determine their schedules once they enter the high school.  Questions regarding high school courses and sign-ups should be directed to the high school guidance department.

Incoming 6^th grade students will receive their sign-up sheet in the spring through their music teacher, who will discuss with students their music options at the Middle School.  Again, these sign-up sheets need to be signed and returned to their elementary school in a timely fashion.  However, if parents have questions regarding classes that are offered at the Middle School, they are encouraged to contact the middle school guidance department.
