Spring Musical Scheduled

The West Carrollton Vocal Music Department is proud to announce their next spring musical production, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, scheduled for April 21, 22, and 23, 2017. The Little Mermaid is based on the classic Disney film with all of the songs audiences have loved for more than 25 years plus many new songs that are sure to become favorites. The story of Ariel, a mermaid who doesn’t feel like she belongs and longs for acceptance from her family, speaks to both children and parents alike. This year’s production will involve more than 75 students in grades 6 through 12 and will be the largest production on our stage in more than 10 years!

The Little Mermaid marks the 28th spring musical produced in the Guiler Auditorium. Our productions have traditionally been a point of pride in the West Carrollton community, and once again, this year’s show promises to be a highlight of the school year. The Little Mermaid will feature fantastic costumes designed by April McNally, scenes both on land and under the sea built by Rob McNally, choreography by Abbie Trittschuh, and direction by Brian Coleman. Our DayTony Award winning pit orchestra will be under the direction of Laura Bukosky. Flying Effects will be provided by ZFX, Inc. Disney's The Little Mermaid is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). Performances will be Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22, at 7 pm and Saturday, April 22, and Sunday, April 23, at 2 PM. Tickets are on sale now at www.seatyourself.biz/westcarrolltonhs.
