The fun begins Fri., Oct. 12 when the West Carrollton High School National Honor Society host a pre-game tailgate party from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Pink out meals that include a hot dog, chips, cookie and drink will be available for $3. This family fun event will have music, face painting and games. Donations will also be accepted with 100% of funds collected going to the Pink Ribbon Girls.At 6:35, the Flying K9s will be providing a pre-game performance. One of the trainers is Middle School Mathematics Teacher, Bob Ryan. The Flying K9s are a group of Frisbee dog
trainers and their canine athletes who perform and compete across the country
in the sport of canine disc. They have multiple World Finalists on the team as
well as World Champions. The Flying K9s are sure to put on a high flying and
action packed Frisbee dog pre-game performance.
At 7 p.m., the Pirate football team takes the field to compete against Xenia. Don’t miss the half-time performance from the Marching Band and Color Guard! They recently won their competition in Lebanon and also took home trophies for Best Music and Best Effect.
