Year-Round School is “alive and
going strong” at Harold Schnell Elementary School. Schnell School is on an
Alternate Calendar, which is, basically, a reorganization of the school year so
that instructional periods and vacations are organized into smaller segments
and spaced throughout the year. A year-round school provides for more
continuous learning and more frequent breaks.
Due to the fact that Harold Schnell
Elementary School is on the year-round calendar, registration will begin
*Tuesday, January 22, 2019, for Kindergarten students who wish to attend 1st
Grade at Harold Schnell Elementary School.
*If school is closed due to inclement weather on this date, registration will begin on the next day school is in session.
Harold Schnell Elementary School
will begin the 2019-2020 School Year on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
First Grade Enrollment Forms will be
time and date stamped as they are distributed and received at Schnell School
beginning January 22, 2019, at 8 a.m. Schnell first graders will be selected on
a first-come, first-serve basis. Enrollment will be limited to the first 95-100
parents who register their child. Even though Kindergarten students who have a
sibling attending Schnell School are given first preference, they still need to
register January 22-25, 2019.
