About West Carrollton Early Childhood Center

The mission of the WC Early Childhood Center is to empower all students to reach their unique potential socially, physically, intellectually and emotionally by engaging children in appropriate learning experiences in a safe, caring and supportive child-focused environment that fosters successful partnership between family and school.

West Carrollton ECC serves students in First Grade, Kindergarten, and Preschool with 22 certified teachers and a total staff of 43. Preschool classes are available for both special needs students and the public. Public preschool space is limited and filled in the spring each year. For enrollment information, contact the school at 859-5121, ext. 4400

The West Carrollton ECC Families and Teachers for Children group meets by subcommittee only. For information on the FTC, contact the school at 859-5121, ext. 4400.

West Carrolllton ECC emphasizes 21st Century Skills in all classes. Some classes may expand on these core behaviors which have been implemented throughout the West Carrollton School District.

Students will: develop and exhibit a positive work ethic, attitude and behavior; take responsibility for and ownership for completing work; display proper etiquette; show respect for others and for property; learn to work in a team and understand teamwork; learn how to solve problems; and be punctual.
