Olivia Wollenhaupt, a Graphic Commercial Art student, competed in local and regional Advertising Design competitions, earning 3rd place in each. The placement qualified her to advance to the Skills USA Ohio state competition in Columbus, where she placed 1st! Olivia received a gold medal and will be advancing to the national competition in Atlanta in June.

Graphic Commercial Art senior Olivia Wollenhaupt (West Carrollton) has earned the prestigious Mother McAuley Art Scholarship from Xavier University!
After submitting her portfolio and competing as one of 16 finalists in a rigorous interview process, Olivia was selected as one of just two recipients. With this scholarship—alongside additional grants and awards—Olivia has fully covered her tuition to pursue a degree in Graphic Design.
Her success reflects the impact of MVCTC’s Graphic Commercial Art program and the guidance of instructors Lauren Roeth and Allison Thompson.
