Congratulations to Cheer Coach, Riley Oda, and all of the West Carrollton cheerleaders! They were all recognized at the Sept. 4 school board meeting with the Pirate Pride Award.
When the cheerleaders participated in a summer cheer camp, other girls from other squads were asked what squad they would like to be on other than their own. The overwhelming answer was West Carrollton because they had the most spirit and were kind to everyone they met. Miss Oda was recognized for her dedication and innovative ideas she has brought to the cheerleaders.
