The Boys' Cross Country Team received Pirate Pride Awards at the November 12 School Board meeting for their achievement of winning the Valley division in the Miami Valley League. The team is Cailen Burnam-Terrell, Kaden Davis, Cooper Hensley, Tyson Nguyen, Preston Pierson, Yahir Portillo, London Smith, Jalen Stites, Michael Towle, and Lukas Wenzel.
Cooper, Yahir, and Michael all earned their way to the district qualifier. In addition to athletic achievements, Tyson was the October Junior Student of the Month at the High School, and London was the October Freshman Student of the Month.
There were no Seniors on the team, so they have a huge potential in achieving even more success next season!
The Girls' Cross Country Team had two girls, Isabel Williams and Tyla Wilson, who made it to the district qualifier.
