Meet Mrs. Mitchell. She has been an educator since 1996 and teaches English at the High School. She said, “West Carrollton is my home. I met my husband here. It’s just like family.”
Over the years, she has been a coach and involved in cross country, track, and wrestling. She enjoys supporting the Pirates throughout all of the athletic seasons. Mrs. Mitchell is also involved in school dances, and she especially enjoys helping students organize the community Christmas party. “I’ve had amazing experiences here, and I’m blessed to have it.”
She has formed lasting relationships with many of her students, met their families, and gone to some of their weddings.
When asked what makes West Carrollton special, she immediately answered, “The kids! If you want to feel like a superstar, teach at West Carrollton.”
