Mrs. Gorden has been with West Carrollton Schools since 2015. She began her career at Frank Nicholas Elementary, teaching first-grade students. For the last six years, she has been at the Intermediate School as a TESOL Instructor and serves as the Muse Machine Advisor.
One of her favorite memories was when one of her students auditioned and performed in the Muse Machine production of Frozen after seeing a production in school.
She loves sharing experiences in the arts, academics, and even new foods to try with her students. Sushi and Mexican are two of her favorites.
Developing relationships with students and their families is a priority for Mrs. Gorden. She is looking forward to connecting with them at the upcoming Cultures and Color event at the school. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in her church, listening to audiobooks, attending musicals, and baking.
