These ladies have something to cheer about!
Middle School Cheerleaders attended the Miami Valley League Cheerleading competition and earned a 2nd-place finish in the Game Day event and a 3rd-place finish in the Traditional event. Members of the Middle School team are Sofia Alfaro, Myla Bolden, Louella Bond, Veda Carmack, Brinley Cooke, Mariah Cundiff, Gabby Cyphers-Osinubi, Kaidence Forte, Shelby Knott, Savannah Mason, Chloe Myers, Mahaylah Ramsey, Brinley Rivera, Lavada Safranic, Chailyn Satterwhite, and Aaliyah Tullis.
The team averages about six years of experience per member, and most started in Pee Wee cheer. Some, like 7th-Grade Team Captain Louella Bond and Co-Captain Laveda Safranic, transitioned from dance to cheerleading. Both like the involvement they have with the spectators when they cheer at games. Along with 8th-Grade Team Captain, Brinley Cooke, they agreed that their team is like family and that the entire team pushes themselves at competitions.
They wanted to give a shout-out to Coach Brittney. They said that despite her busy schedule, she always finds time for them. One more thing they agreed on is "She's the best coach ever."
