A cow? On a bus? The Butterfly Bus that transports students to and from the Early Childhood Center has adopted Peony through discoverydairy.com that allows students to follow the life of a calf throughout the school year. Some classrooms in the district have adopted a calf, but this is the first time a calf has been adopted by a bus! Fortunately, Peony visits the kids via pictures so no extra bus cleaning is involved.
Early voting was happening yesterday. The lines to vote were long, but voters were happy to wait and eager to cast their ballot. Early polls showed a close race, but in the end, Duck won in a landslide against Farmer Brown.






Guess who loves to read? Kindergarten students! Reading is the foundation of learning! The more you read, the more you can succeed!
Mrs. Van Kleeck has been a teacher in West Carrollton School District for 8 years. She enjoys watching her children compete in sporting events, shopping with her daughter, and trying new restaurants. Mrs. Van Kleeck continues to be a dedicated educator in our district!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, will there be enough room for fun learning activities in Mrs. Bullard's class? Of course! Mrs. Bullard dressed the part to work on letter identification skills with her kindergarten class today.

The ECC is proudly honoring our amazing students of the week who have been safe, respectful, and responsible. These young pirates were nominated by their teacher and continue to be a role model for their peers. Keep up the great work!



ECC Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Gore has been a teacher in West Carrollton School District for 25 years. She loves to cook/bake, draw, and to be with her family. Mrs. Gore continues to be a dedicated educator in our district!

The wizards from Wright Patt are here to talk to kindergarten students about how to prevent spreading viruses. Could hand washing be involved?

If you add a blue ice cube to yellow lemonade, what do you get? Green lemonade and a tasty treat! Kindergarten students were learning observation and taste skills!
