Due to weather conditions, all West Carrollton Schools will be closed today, December 2.
We’re bursting with pride as we celebrate our ECC Students of the Month! These young pirates have shown what it truly means to be safe, respectful, responsible, and kind. Their positive behavior shines bright, and we’re thrilled to recognize their amazing efforts.

Fall Break is November 24 through November 28. There is NO SCHOOL for students. Students will return on Monday, December 1.

Dental Hygiene students from Sinclair have a direct connection to the Tooth Fairy, and they are part of the Tooth Fairy Squad. The Tooth Fairy sends out squad members to teach young children about the importance of brushing their teeth and flossing. Children even learn about foods that are good for their teeth. Thank you for visiting the ECC!

Today is World Kindness Day. If we start kindness at home, kids can take it to school and share it with their teachers, support staff, and classmates. Teachers, support staff, and classmates can take it home and share it with their families. It can keep spreading from there! Let's make the school district a kind place to be!

Thank you to all the families who attended STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Night at the ECC last night. Students were able to learn, explore, and be creative during this special night.

Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all our active-duty military members and all those who have served. These two boys dressed as their heroes, and you are our heroes, too!
The first thing ECC employees do in the morning is greet students. Today they had an extra helper!
The West Carrollton community offers many opportunities for young Pirates, including being Champions! Congratulations to the young players, cheerleaders, and coaches for their outstanding performance and for becoming the 2025 Bantam Silver Bowl Conference Champions!

Be safe. Be respectful. Be responsible. These kiddos brought the safety to the ECC!
ECC students looked a little different this morning when they came to school wearing their favorite costumes. Many of our students will be out this evening for Beggar's Night. Please watch out for them. Be especially cautious when driving. We want all of our Pirates to have a safe and fun night!
What happens during a QPT Day? Collaboration and learning! We found some of our High School staff working together, and some of our student support staff watching a presentation about CPR. Those are just two of the things happening today! #wcpiratepride
Do your hair ties match? Do your shoes match? What is that on your head? The answers to those questions may be no, no, and a noodle container, but that's what happens when you have a Wacky Wednesday at the Early Childhood Center! #westcarrolltonecc

The ECC staff was ready to meet and greet students this morning!
We love our community! Thank you to the Kettering Hospital Nuclear Medicine Department. They donated school supplies today to WC Elementary and WC Early Childhood Center!

Please see the link for ECC Car Rider drop off and pick up procedures and guidelines. Thank you for following these procedures to keep our youngest pirates safe! https://bit.ly/ECCdropoffandpickup

ECC students are rehearsing for their performance this evening! What a treat for them to be on the High School stage!

Pandemonium. Preschool. Playground. We had all three when preschool students searched for eggs hidden on the playground! Thanks to the preschool staff, all of the peeps were under control. Each child retrieved two eggs to put in the bag which was taken back to their classroom.
