End of Year - Chromebook and Hotspot Recovery

In preparation for the end of the 20 – 21 school year, The West Carrollton Technology Department is sending out the following information for the return of District issued Chromebooks and Hotspots. Please read the information carefully and follow the instructions. Following these instructions will allow the Technology Team to recover, sanitize, repair, re-inventory and re-cart over 1700 devices prior to the start of the 21 – 22 school year. Failure to follow these instructions could result in additional school fees being added to your students account for computer services.

District Issued Hotspots

Verizon has been made aware that a very small number - less than .001% - of certain Verizon internet hotspots (devices called “Verizon Ellipsis Jetpack MHS900L and MHS900LS”) used for distance learning have significantly overheated and caused heat-related damage.

Going Paperless with FinalForms

We are very excited to announce that the West Carrollton School District has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service that will be replacing paper forms. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign enrollment, back-to-school and athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.
