About Us

The West Carrollton School District serves more than 3,700 students from the City of West Carrollton and portions of Miami Township and the City of Moraine. Located just south of Dayton, the district encompasses a 10 square mile area.

There are six schools including one Early Childhood Center serving Preschool, all-day Kindergarten, and grade 1 students; two Elementary schools serving grades 2 through 4; one Intermediate School serving grades 5 and 6; one Middle School serving grades 7 and 8; and one High School serving grades 9 through 12.

Every student from Preschool to High School has the opportunity to engage in a wide array of learning experiences both inside and outside of the classroom. Teachers and support staff work together to provide optimum education and services for every child.

Beginning in elementary school, students may choose to participate in extracurricular activities. After school clubs focus on the interest of students. Extracurricular activities expand as students transition to the Middle School and High School. Athletics, performing and visual arts, as well as a diverse selection of clubs are available.

No matter what the grade or school, students and their families are encouraged to be involved at the school and district level.
