You must reside in the West Carrollton School District to enroll.

Welcome to West Carrollton Schools! We are excited that your child will be joining the PIRATE family!

All enrollments are done online using FinalForms. The online enrollment process allows you to upload required paperwork; however, the following original documents must be brought in when you come in for your enrollment appointment: 

1.  An ORIGINAL birth certificate for each child being enrolled. We cannot accept a copy or a birth record.
2.  Parent/Guardian’s current driver’s license or state ID.
3.  Custody papers (if applicable).

The following documents may be uploaded or brought in when you come in for your enrollment appointment.

1.  Proof of Residency in the custodial parent’s name. We can only accept one of the following:
   • A CURRENT utility bill (water, electric or gas only)
   • A CURRENT signed lease agreement
   • Proof of property ownership (deed or purchase contract)
2.  A CURRENT immunization record for each child being enrolled.
3.  Withdrawal papers from previous school for each child being enrolled.

Missing or incomplete documents may result in a delayed enrollment resulting in missed school days.

An appointment must be made after completing FinalForms to complete the enrollment process.

Kindergarten

After completing your enrollment online,

to schedule an appointment to bring in the following items:

• Your child's original birth certificate
• Current proof of residency in the form of a utility bill or signed lease agreement
• Parent or legal guardian's photo ID
• Current Immunizations

Preschool

PRESCHOOL APPLICATION FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR:

Preschool applications will be accepted from February 1 through February 29, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year at the Early Childhood Center - 510 E. Pease Avenue, West Carrollton.  You must complete FinalForms and submit the application along with the required legal documents to complete the preschool application process.

• Your child's original birth certificate
• Current proof of residency in the form of a utility bill or signed lease agreement
• Parent or legal guardian's photo ID
• Proof of income - your two most recent paycheck stubs within the last 30 days
• Current Physical
• Current Immunizations

Open Enrollment

THE WINDOW FOR OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR IS NOW OPEN.  

The school district will be accepting Open Enrollment applications for students living outside of the school district in person only at the Board of Education Office beginning March 1, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. through May 31, 2024 at 4 p.m. 

Application for Open Enrollment must be done every year, even if the child is already attending one of the West Carrollton Schools. Applications must be returned in person at the Board of Education Office, 430 E. Pease Avenue, West Carrollton. Applications cannot be mailed, emailed or FAXed. A completed application is the first step, but should not be considered an acceptance for enrollment.  Open Enrollment acceptance is granted based on grade level and program space availability.  Notification of acceptance occurs sometime between July and August that includes information regarding enrollment.
