Athletic Events - Important Info for Spectators, Students and Families

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING ATHLETICS

We hope that all of our families attend West Carrollton sporting events and support our student-athletes, coaches, and teams by cheering loudly for the Pirates. We would like to remind all students that plan on attending events that there are behavioral expectations for all spectators. Please remember that all rules outlined in each school’s Code of Conduct are still in effect at sporting events.

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS FOR ALL SPECTATORS

All students below the 9th grade are required to have a guardian with them to attend sporting events. Even with a valid ticket, students below 9th grade without a guardian will not be permitted.

--There is a strict no re-entry policy at all WCSD sporting events.

--All WCSD campuses are smoke free. This includes the areas surrounding the stadium.

--Spectators are not allowed to bring any kind of sports balls into sporting events.

--There is to be no congregating after the game. Families are expected to meet their student-athletes in

the parking lot after the game is finished.

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

Middle School students are required to remain in the student sections at all times. If you are going to use the restroom or visit the concession stand, you are expected to return to your seat when you are finished. Students are not permitted to congregate in the open areas between the stands and the fence or the open areas on either side of the bleachers.
