This Friday! WC Fourth and Fifth Graders Have FIELD DAY at DOC Stadium
Parents are welcome! Please send your student to school with a hat and a water bottle and apply sunscreen BEFORE getting to school. Come cheer your student on at the DOC.

On Friday, May 29, 2015 fourth and fifth grade students from all WC elementaries will meet at DOC Stadium for a fun filled day of spirited competition. "This field day will be one big way for us to promote physical activity and give these students an enjoyable experience full of camaraderie - - especially our fifth graders who will shortly be all together at WC Middle School," said physical education teacher, Scott Doyle.

Students can anticipate carnival-type games and activities as well more traditional track and field formatted events. "All of it will challenge their physical, mental, and social capabilities." And, what would a field day be without an opening ceremony? For this one, the WCHS vocal group, Mutiny, will be performing for students. The half time/lunch entertainment will be provided by the WC Marching Band. And, to wrap up the day, fourth and fifth grade teachers will have their own competition.
